yeeeehaaaaa!

Just got back from a road trip with good friend and amazing photographer, Jack Edinger. We went down South to Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. We had quite an adventure. Some highlights include: a visit to Mr. Eggleston's office, back-to-back WWE shows (Smack-Down and RAW), playing "yahver benta...?", dodging wild camels, $4 HIGH-LIFE pitchers, bumping into Elvis at the "House of Illusions" (Oh, by-the-way, Elvis did everything, before anyone did anything.) and plenty of meat n' two's. We each shot somewhere around 30 rolls, so keep an eye out for a possible collaboration book/project outlining some of our "wild and crazy" adventures. _b

new ideas.../ work

I've been trying to nail down some concrete ideas for a new project I've been kinda subliminally working on for sometime. I think I'm attempting to give a portrait of mid-western, modern middle-class America. I've been photographing the suburbs - (the people and the place), shopping centers, eating, excess, leisure, waste, advertising, etc. I'm just wondering if the project will be too broad, too big...? Any ideas / suggestions? _b

turtle.

I flew over the pacific ocean with this guy. He took the window seat on the plane and didn't let me look out even once, but that's ok I made him say "FUCK YOU!" during rush hour on the subway. (Very embarassing! If you've ever been to Tokyo you know what I mean... silent as all hell on those things! Sayonara _b
